BANDS 

DESCRIPTION
BANDS is a financial app dedicated to providing musicians with the financial knowledge needed for a successful career. For their product launch, BANDS needed a brand identity that resonated with rising musicians while conveying the trust and credibility of a financial advisor. This brand identity embodies the idea that BANDS bridges the gap between the business and creative side of the industry.



IDENTITY FOUNDATIONS Through both soft and hard edges, the wordmark comes to show the structure BANDS provides to a creative and fluid industry. 



SCREEN BASED MEDIA

MONEY TALKS CONFERENCE To extend BANDS’ brand ethos, I came up with the idea of BANDS Money Talks. Money Talks is a 5 day conference that talks about the business behind music, but also music in relationship to other industries such as film and fashion. 


IDENTITY AS ART The brand identity extend out to other geometric forms which can be used as art across different spatial applications. 


PACKAGING I fabricated a plaque to recognize users’ accomplishments on the platform, as well as the packaging for it. The package uses spot UV finishing and chromatic stickers for premium finishing.
